Timex T49612 Review
All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. Why blame Jack? He might not be having a device to drive him to go for adventure. But you are lucky! You go for expedition only if you have a good companion.
Timex T49612 can be that partner. It comes from Timex’s Expedition trail series. It’s digital and has a sporty appeal to it. While it looks like a casual watch, this full sized watch includes a highly accurate digital compass to help keep you on course when hiking the trails or urban spelunking. Shock resistant was a much needed feature and its given.
Quartz movement is hugely popular as watch movement. It runs better with battery and doesn’t need a winding, so it provides you the accurate time!
Quartz watches generally gain or lose no more than a minute or two a year. Because they’re so accurate, quartz watches can time extremely short periods of time.
Looks are just like any hot stud that catches the eye balls of every eye candy! It’s sporty, adventurous, robust and bold just like a man.
Constructed with the great outdoors in mind, this masterpiece goes far beyond telling time. Very small space of the dial case is used for digital display but big digits are vivid enough to read at one glance.
The major space is occupied by compass. Compass features include bearings based on 16 cardinal points measured in degrees and a function that enables you to set declination angle based on geography.
Large, durable and light-weight resin case of this Timex mens watch is topped with a gray ring featuring compass headings. It also features a 100-hour chronograph and English or metric units.
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling this watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.
Acrylic is used for dial window. This gives low reflectivity and also if an acrylic crystal watch is dropped or given a hard knock it is very unlikely to suffer the crystal shattering. This is even used in many military issue watches.
“Band” of men
If you need strength, close your eyes and simply choose resin for watch bands! You can’t go wrong with the vigor it offers.
Resin, being fully synthetic, is waterproof. Additionally, its ruggedness and enhanced ultraviolet resistance makes it a superior choice over plastic especially for high-activity watches like these.
